Call Out Cottage is located in the beautiful village of Sledmere in the Yorkshire Wolds.
Call Out Cottage was beautifully converted when the village fire station was decommissioned. The semi-detached cottage occupies the “call out” area of the fire station. Firemen would await their callouts from the living room before rushing to the engine room.
Owned by the Bailey family the cottage is a great place to relax surrounded by the beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds. The cottage is close to the stunning Yorkshire Coast and there are plenty of local walks to ramble in the rolling hills. This two bedroom cottage has a large modern open plan living and two ensuite bedrooms plus on outside patio area.

Modern, spacious, cosy
Located on the edge on the picturesque estate village of Sledmere, Call Out Cottage is a cosy modern holiday home. The historic Sledmere House with farm shop, tea room and gardens is just a 10-minute walk away. Ideally located on one of the main B-roads into the village it is easy to explore the Wolds, Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire coast.
Enter the cottage through the main entrance of the fire station into a large hall way. A great place to store walking boots, jackets and buckets and spades!
Downstairs consists of a large open plan living area with lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The dining area comfortably sits six and is adjacent to the bright well-equipped kitchen. French doors open to the small enclosed patio, which has views across the fields and is a great spot to enjoy an evening drink. Stairs lead to the two bedrooms, the double room has an ensuite with large roll top bath and shower. The twin room also has an ensuite shower room.
